In the PC World, I have used DVD Slideshow for years. It was by Arcsoft, and there was no monthly fee. As I recall, I bought it one time. It did the job for me on PC. No clue about 'Droid.

Second time today I'm mentioning LibreOffice. I have never used it, but LibreOffice Impress (Windows) allows you to create and edit slideshows. I have little to suggest for Android. But isn't obvious that a slideshow is a function of Gallery?
