If you want to gamble w/ BUY.com rebates - use google checkout ($10 off) and make $9 (selecting free shipping).

Its two rebates: $40 for purchase + $20 for upgrade (need proof of old version) +$10 google discount.

Thanks, OP. Actually it's probably not much of a gamble as it looks like the rebates are both from Symantec, which usually processes the rebates quickly. For the upgrade rebate any product from Symantec or PowerQuest will work.

Isn't this still essentially the same as PowerQuest PartitionMagic 8.0? I have that version--I think only the name changed.

Any one else have probs with this program? I think me or a friend has used it about 10-15 times since win 95 days and had either explosions or odd compatability probs with the partitions about 1/2 the time. I always ghost it first now. And funny thing is once you have a ghost image then you can just restore it from ghost and skip partition magic altogether. Recently I have tried a free linux boot cd image that did an excellent job resizing fat and ntfs partitions. I don't have the disk here but if interested I can look for the name tonight.
