Make $60 (possible) w/ this monitor (Compaq MV540)

Dartek has this monitor for $99.99 - $10 coupon = $89.99 with free shipping. The reason this might be such a HOT deal is Compaq has a $150 rebate for purchasing a new monitor. People on FW is discussing whether Dartek is a warehouse retailer. The rebate states that it's not valid if you buy from a club/warehouse retailer.

This is not really a repost...because Staples sells this monitor for 29 bucks. Plus 150 rebate. Make 130 dollars. Very crappy monitor....but good investment opportunity.

This deal is questionable that's why the author wrote "possible" no one knows yet if:

1) compaq will accept this company for the rebate (something about this place being a liquidator voids it)

2) compusa might not accept net PMs (YMMV)

Even if CompUSSR (as another member of AT puts it ) doesn't accept the PM but compaq accepts the Reseller then you can make ~ $50 less shipping and tax...

Someone has to call compaq to verify that they accept the REBATE or else your stuck with an overpriced 15" piece of cr@p.
