I think this deal will only work in NJ,NY and PA areas coz' as far as I know National Wholesale Liquidators is only in these areas. I would have scanned my receipt but the receipt doesn't say the model no. or brand. I had to take my phone along with the reciept to PM.
This phone is not available online-You can see the product and specs here
U can use this as a regular cordless or to hook to ur pc. I got this phone mainly to use voice chat on my pc and to use internet telephony. None of my friends could guess as of now that I am using internet phone-the volume I feel is little low though but is good enough.
What I did was got this phone from staples(with no intention of PM) $10 was good enough I thought. Then I went to this store and found exactly the same phone for $29.97 and I went back to staples to PM.

Staples Price: :49.98
(Less)$10off$40 coupon :-10.00
Staples Price :39.98

NWL Price :29.97
Staples Refund you:
110%Price Match(Difference) :-22.01

Your Final Price at staples :17.97
(-)$30 Staples MIR :-30.00
Your final price :-12.03

Please pm me if so.

Thanks!

I believe that Staples' new policy is that they will not allow you to price match and use a coupon on the same item. Just be aware that this may not work. Plus the $10 off $30 coupon expired on Monday (although I guess you could also try to get them to take that still, it all depends on how dilligent the cashier is).

The new Staples policy is that they will deduct the coupon from the item's cost first, then they will do the PM. They will not do it in reverse. Even if you do it in reverse, they will catch the deal. They now send all PM and coupon deals through some sort of review department. Trust me, I found this out a couple of days ago. Even if you get it past the person taking your order, the review panel will catch it.

Staples new 110% policy is not 110% of the purchase price. They will match the competitor's price and then give you another 10% of the price difference

In the example in the original post the correct amount if Staples did the PM would be

Staples Price: $49.98
- PM to NWL Price $20.01
- 10% of PM difference:$ 2.01
======================
Staples Price = $27.96

Still not bad for a Free phone f you have a WL in your area.

will not work,. the net price is 19.98 at staples because of the rebate, they will not pricematch their netprice of 19.98 to 29.97 of NWL

rebate doesnt matter sometimes---and at my staples, they usually dont even know there is a rebate!
its worth a shot i would say--although getting the coupon added on at the end is getting more difficult

It may work, but it clearly goes against Staples' current policy and you run the risk of being turned down, with good reason.
