My DSL has been a real good experience. And since I host stuff, it was more of a logical option.

I do use Verizon, but I am in a former GTE area, and I think that makes the difference. From the former Bell Atlantic areas, all I hear (or most of what I hear) is complaints.

It's a quality issue I guess.

I have a small business package, so it gets a little more pricey.

I had cable where I used to live and DSL in my current place. They both have good points and bad, and they both go down occasionally. If I had to pick though, I'd go with cable, seems to be much more stable, imo.

dsl is too expensive for me right now. Cable has been good for downloading and regular surfing.. some periods of cut out for a sec (having to reload the page.. or wait a few seconds before so)...

but gaming is down the drain 🙁 I'm sure DSL wouldn't be any better for me now caues i'm on the outskirts of getting RADSL (can get IDSL for $80/mo, or SDSL for $100/mo.. + the insanely high install fees.. hrmm.. vs $40/mo for cable (including modem rental)?.. which do you think my dad likes 🙂)
