Major video isssue, any help welcome.

I have a shuttle AV11 mother board, 256MB of crucial pc133 ram, ad a MSI geforce 2 Pro. Now the problem lies within games. The computer starts correctly and displays the desktop and everything, but it seems whenever I try to run a game useing Direct 3D the card will lock the whole system. Nothing will respond, so i must do a cold shutdown. When it locks up there is a little white block in the uper left corner. The video card seems to be fine in anything running with openGL though. I havnt tested it fully, but I think only Direct 3D is causeing the problems. What I would like to know is, does anyone know how to fix this. I have DirectX 8, and the newest Nvidia drivers. Thanks for any help.

Maybe look for new or updated drivers for all of your hardware?
