Government really needs to get involved with this. Punish those who perform it especially Countries that do it or hold the hackers unaccountable and set minimum security standard plus advise about potential threats.

Companies may have protections in place, but I don't think it's realistic to have companies be solely responsible for protecting themselves from potential state-sponsored cyber-warfare.

What you are advocating for is socialism. In a capitalist society, a business that can’t protect itself from threats doesn’t deserve to be in business.

I look forward to sky high oil prices and their down stream effect. Yeah capitalism!

Don't forget high electrical prices with the weak grids vulnerable to attacks as well...Summers Coming !
