Would you rather date a cronic alcoholic or a guy who smoked weed once a month with his friends? (I'm just devil's advocating here)

I would date neither.

Well... first off... you should NEVER expect a man(or woman) to change who they are, for you. If you expect that... IMHO you're already screwed...

Secondly... like I said.. I'm willing to bet money that your current boyfriend has traits that previously would have placed him on the turned-off list. If you end up breaking it off with him... my guess is those traits will make it back on the turn offs list.

Rules are made to be broken... the more rules you make, the more you have to break.

I said make changes... I did not say change who they are!!!

Wants to listen to C-rap, fine...
Wants to dress like a thug, fine...
ETC down the list, fine...

but not when he is with me. Go with his friends, whatever... but when he is with me, then ... no, I would not be accepting of interested. Say what you like... I know what I like, what I don't and what I am willing to tolerate. I am not a youg kid who doesnt know about themselves.

It is what it is... those things are a turn off for me.
That's that!

Ahhh ok ok ok... we're getting somewhere now... I knew you were a reasonable woman🙂...

So these things aren't deal breakers so long as the guy you're with respects/knows you well enough to take care. I.E. the true turn off here, are men who don't respect your pet peeves. 😉

I actually like attention whores, they're a lot more interesting.

What I hate is the opposite, quiet girls that try to act cute and innocent, and usually are pretty quiet.. and dull...zzzzzzzzzz.

I have to defend KarenMarie - everything she said makes good sense - and her list is not only accurate, but also far from eliminating "all" males on the planet. She's not a man hater, she is a realist. Kudos to you, for knowing what's right!

I'm with you on that. Pretty much everything I do, or ever has done, has been to make other people happy, and improve my standing in other peoples eyes. I care what other people think about me, and I can't be with someone who doesn't feel the same way.

Attention whores are awesome 🙂.

Aside from general attitude problems and fugliness, these things turn me off:
-eye makeup (not many girls can apply eye makup without looking beaten, tired, or whory)
-glitter makeup
-smoking
-being too girly (not wanting to disect a pig because it's "gross")
-being a retard (watch that show The Simple Life)

Eye makeup and glitter are small, and I can overlook them. Smoking, being too girly, and retardation are major turnoffs, and I have ended relationships because of them.

-Girls that just lay there, expect you to do ALL the work, and then think they're good in the sack. News flash: you aren't. And if your last boyfriend liked it that way, well, two points: a) I'm not him, and b) unlike him, I dont have a latent necrophilia fetish/fantasy.

Amen brother. Too many women think that they are great lovers if they put effort into it once a month. News flash for you here ladies: there might be a correlation between how lazy you are, and how selfish he is.

made a sh!tload of $$$

And now all is clear...🙂

On your list if you break it down:

Big white teeshirts and pants around the azz.

Hats on backwards.

Loud talkers.

Guy who think they are funnier and more intelligent than they are.

People who speak without thinking.

Any guy who has listened to C-Rap within the last year.

Show offs.

Drug takers (pot included).

Guys who have the bass set in their cars so loud it rattles the windows.

Know it alls.

A guy who doesn't like and respect animals.

Liars and exaggeraters. Lazy guys.

Moaners with the 'oh poor me' attitude.

Guys who won't try new ideas, activties.

Guys with poor grooming habits.

Braggers.

Dirty hands.

Totally hairless chests.

Guys who aren't handy to fix things (or willing to try).

Metrosexuals.

Guys who fall over girls JUST because they think they have a shot at ... well, you know, with no other interest in her at all.

poor manners.

Disrespect to their parents.

Untied shoelaces.

Jewelry on men.

Guys who think they are SOOO KEWL.

Selfish and inconsiderate people.

Guys who don't know what they want.

Pretty long ass list you have there...and I am sure there is more.

I am curious though if there is any tolerance threshold for a few of those points? granted you are older so I am sure your patience grows thin...but poor manners and not trying things are traits which can be corrected/modified and also what threshold do you have for jewelery? no watch, cufflinks, class or wedding rings?? or do you mean Mr. T style?

Thanks

Guys who ask me to honestly list what things turn me off... and then argue with me about the validility of my list.

Abd that's just off the top of my head.
🙂

gangsters. metrosexuals. geeks. emo kids. confident. shy. you hate everyone!

biggest thing for me is i dont like girls who are uninteresting or not funny. x1000 if they THINK theyre interesting. boredom beats out stupidity every time.

1) Dumb/ditzy girls
2) Smoking (although, this is moving down on my list)
3) girly girls, girls that are afraid to break a nail all the damn time

hm is that sarcasm? so, what if you find out they do like you? bleh

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!

But a question from me: Do Iron Maiden, Slayer -insert any other heavy metal band here- really intimidate girls that much? I have a distinct feeling they do so i tend to not wear them when I am on the prowl.

But what is the truth for an average girl?
