What major should you take in college if you want to go become a lawyer?

girl in my psychology class is majoring in psych then going to law school.... i'm majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology

Law Schools generally like a liberal-arts type degree, so Political Science and English are pretty common.

 

Political Science, English or History should do you just fine.

EDIT: although, I could totally see an engineering degree being useful too, but you have to have the writing skills of a liberal arts major to go through with that.

I'd say major in whatever-the-heck you want, but you really should have a liberal arts writing background if you want to survive in lawschool.
