Major Problems with my SetiQueue - need help

Once again, my Queue at work is not flushing......... 🙁

We had to make some significant changes to the network and now my queue will not flush or get WUs. For the short term, is there an easy way to transfer those WUs to a computer that will Flush (like mine at home) and then transfer the WUs that it fetches back to the Queue at work?

I probably have almost 300 WUs that need flushed and I am almost out of WUs to give my machines...... 🙁

Is it a problem gettin to berkeley, or are you using another queue? If not, try using one...?

I don't have any other suggestions at the moment, but i will bear it in mind 🙂

Look in your SetiQ log file and let us know what it says.

If you need WU's, I have about 1,000 I can send you. They're remaining in the Farm's silos. I just don't know how to send them, so I'd need some guidance.

Indy: You should be able to zip/rar a bunch of them and just send them over.

This isn't because of Berkeley problems...... I made some significant changes to my network (that were needed) and it killed my connection to the outside world for everything except Port 80 (web) traffic..... The only way I could get out before was through OKs queue using the Winsock Proxy setting.... 🙁

If this is a connection problem to the outside world Ijump, try a laptop Queue like Pie Derro and I.

IJump, if you want to try my queue, then feel free! The upload speed isn't too bad, really! 🙂

My cable connection is sitting most of the day not doing much uploading so if it can help you out then go for it!

I'm sure i at least suggested or helped out in the setting up of a laptop to be an intermediate queue! Now brain isn't as good as it used to be now i'm getting old (he says having just turned 18

*sigh*) but i'm quite sure it was me who wrote out a nice long explanation! 😉 (Or it could just be me trying to take credit for a good idea that worked 😉)

I would try pointing your queue at that port 80 queue.

Thanks for all of the help and suggestions. I have a lap top that I could use but I don't think it will be necessary. Hopefully, if this happens again, I will remember that..... 🙂

I am currently dumping my WUs to OKs queue and fetching WUs. 😀

Thanks to Indy for a quick infusion of WUs. I was down to less than 1/2 day worth of WUs before he helped me out. 🙂
