major problems w/ radeon 9100 128mb???

I just purchaed a refurb 9100 128mb from newegg.

I goto ati.com to download drivers and it's not listed????

according to ati b/c it has a "102" part number it's a "built by" not "powered by" product but I can't find any drivers.:disgust::beer::evil:

EDIT: I changed the title... now I have static coming from my speakers when I try to play a movie or game.
and I can't play RTCW or enemy territory. the display is so garbled I have to exit it by remembering keystrokes.
I used the ati reference drivers.

I changed the title as I am having major problems.
I am using the refernce drivers from ati's website these are the same as power-color has BTW

Did you try downloading the latest drivers from your card manufacturer's website?

that's the problem, I can't find drivers for the 9100

8500 = 9100

thanks. tried it w/ no luck.

running 3dmark 2001 some test run fine others run w/ all kids of distortion and artifacts. does this indicate a bad card or bad drivers?

OK, who makes your card? Sapphire? Powercolor? Visiontek?

What distortion do you see? Is it green dots in a regular pattern all over the screen?

Are you overclocking anything in your system?

sapphire for ati

distortion is weird, 2D is perfect. in 3dmark2001 the test that stuck out were the horse that looks like a statue and just rotates. around it's torso there were all these extra points of color that shouldnt be there.

also on most of the other test like the blackbirds that are running around on the groud the straight angles are all too far. its as is the lines that were supposed to be drawn for their bodies exteneded much further and the result was a giant jumbled mess.

I 'm not OC'ing and I even tried under clocking the vide card w/o ssuccess

It's refurbished must have gotten a bad one. All the 9000's use the 3.4's the one 6.14.10.6343. Select 8500,9000,9500 etc... It takes you to the download for the 3.4's.
