major problem

got a problem here, while i was playin bf42 all of a sudden my screen turned black and my monitor said no signal, wtf does mean??????? i am getting so fed up with this computer. im running a 2500 on a msi nforce board, radeon 9600 pro, 512mb ram, i have a aero7 cpu cooler, i dont know if it is my temps getting to hot or wut? if anyone has any suggestions on keeping my cpu cooler let me know.... as of now i have one exhaust, two in the front and one blowing in, right by my video card, and as we speak my temps are at 41-42 thats at idle, and i think they get to about 50-55 or even higher while on load.🙁 im pretty sure i put enough thermal grease on..... please i need your help....

It's not your computer, it's your Radeon. You're going to have to d*ck with some of the BIOS settings to try and troublshoot it. I am not a Radeon owner so I can't help you out there, but this is a common problem for people with your card.

ok, your cpu temp is fine, and your supposed to apply a thin layer of thermal grease on the cpu die and heatsink, but if its working fine forget it, but remember for next time.

The video signal is obviously not getting to the monitor, try a new video cable, if still persists, swap video cards, if still persists, swap monitor, if still persists, then may actually be a mobo problem. But I'm pretty sure its the video card, so check that first.

Have you tried a different monitor or different video card? Don't know if it's the same thing but a previous LCD that I had, the backscreen went out and gave me the no signal message also that you are talking about. So it may be the monitor. Time to start testing things 1 by 1 starting with monitor, video card and going further into your system.

tried switching the monitors and stuff, this is the second 9600 pro i have got, the other one was messed up tooo, so they sent me a new one. i mean once it turns off i can just restart and its back to normal. off the subject, can i get you guys to tell me your athlon cpu temps? idle and on a load? thanx again

Your temps are not your problem. Check your energy saving setting and make sure it is not set to turn off your monitor after so many min. So pc's have problems with coming out of standby. I know you said it happens when playing games but if it is on disable it and the screensaver and see what happens.

My CPU temp is about 40-42, but a CPU dies at about 80 celcius, so I don't think your CPU is the problem.
