Major problem with Win2k "Program Error" message

I am having a problem with my installations of Win2K.

When I go to use explorer I get a error message:

Program error

Explorer.exe has generated an error and will be closed by windows.
You will need to restart your program.
An error log is being created.

This prevents me using Windows explorer and my computer and browser.
So I have to reboot the computer. A major problem. When I restart the computer somethimes the problem goes away and thus can use the system.

It only started happening today and so far has happened to me about 3 times so far, it is unbearable.

Urgent please help????

Which service pack and version of IE are you running?

When you say installations, do you mean you are receiving this error on other PC's while installing Win2K?
