I was using LiveBios to flash my MSI and right after it downloaded the new bios and started the flash procedure it came up and said verify error. I clicked ok, (couldn't do anything else) and it re-booted.
When it re-booted it beeped 4 times then started beeping constantly. I'm sure it's hosed, but wondered if there was anything I could do. It's only a week old and I ordered it from allstarshop.com

I know one thing, I won't be using LiveBios anymore.

Nothing. It still does the same thing. I don't know whether I can send it back to allstarshop or if I have to send it to MSI.

Yes, clear the CMOS. If that doesn't work reflash it in another computer with the same BIOS socket.

Did you try booting with only CPU, RAM, HDD, and video card?

You should not have to send it back.

What was your old motherboard? Do you know others with computers? (sorry, had to ask ;)) Are you mechanicly inclined?

You boot the other board in to DOS like you would normally do a BIOS flash.

You, while the 'puter is running, pull out the BIOS chip and insert your bad one from the MSI board.

You run the Award flash util and flash the MSI Pro 2A BIOS to the chip.

Power down the computer and put the BIOS's back into thier respective computers.

Viola (err, something)

Your bad BIOS flash is fixed!!!

Booting after a Bad BIOS flash without the cards in? Umm, I doubt it - but you could try anyway...

Heh... while that is an option, but you're running a potential risk.

Does the LX6 have the same socket? Its about .5 inch square?

Yes, I guess there is some risk in doing the hot swap trick, I thought the person was nuts when I first heard of it. But, I've done it MANY times (5-7) and not seen one problem. As a matter of fact, I had to do this on my board (same as yours) I flashed the Overclockers BIOS to the board and it did not work... :(

Can't do the swap anyway, the chip on the abit is rectangular and the msi is square. Screwed, I am.

I bet this will cost me

No need to return the board.

And as a reseller, I find it apalling that one would find that a better solution.

Not exactly moral you know.

Well its always the best to flash BIOS in DOS with a floppy boot up. Programs like MSI LiveBIOS and AsusUpdate arent proven to be the safest way to flash your BIOS.

There is nothing he can do now, except to find somebody with the same board to swap and flash the BIOS for him.

As I said earlier, Almost all of my friends have computers, but I don't think any of them would be happy about me pulling their bios chip out. :)

I didn't know that some bios chips weren't the same configuration.

I dont suppose they can do that for you, just tell them you need an RMA.

I always told everybody you could find anything on the forums, but I bet nobody has a spare bios chip laying around. :)

I've always been wary about software bios updates. I guess I have reason to be.

If I were you, I'd RMA it for a new one.
