Major Performance drop in hd4850 since catalyst 10.5

Did anyone note this?

catalyst 10.4 59fps
catalyst 10.5 - 33fps
about 45% slower...

have you tried the latest drivers like 11.5 which run my powercolor 4850 very well?

I'm running fairly recent drivers, 11.4 I believe, and I've never noticed a drop in performance in any of games over the past two years I've had my HD4850.

This is on Win7 64bit.

Its only cinebench 11.5 so far, games performs better with newer drivers.

So they dropped whatever optimizations they were using to cheat cinebench.

It happened to me as well with Nvidia drivers and it affected not the OpenGL test (maybe it did, did not test it), but the CPU test. Before i kept getting 9,5/9,6 points score, now with 270.61 drivers its 8,8/8,9...
however Cinebench R10 is not affected by this, i got the expected score
