ok.I am wanting to upgrade some things on my computer. To start with I am not an overclocker, I am into gaming and want a computer to be stable and do normal everyday tasks. I know I would like to change the video card and possible the ram. But I don't know about the processor. Hear is the description of my current system:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+
Ram: 2 gig DIMM #1 DDR-SDRAM
Mem_Bandwidth: PC3200 (200 MHz)
Motherboard: ASUSTeK
A8N32-SLI-Deluxe
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Media Center
Power Supply: 650 watt
Can I get by replacing the Video Card and Ram without replacing the Processor? Or by using today's newer Video Cards will I get a bottle neck effect by using by current processor? What are your thoughts and comments on this?
