Kinda a rip off then.... maybe if it was the Halo 3 Wireless Headset, but $50 for some pictures, a play and charge kit, and a paint job it pretty steep IMO.

Don't forget it's only 20gb instead of 120gb like the elite.

And it also has HDMI unlike the Premium.

Not bad... but I'm not touching one until the Xbox Premium is $300 and the 90nm units are gone.

looks like a good gameplan. 🙂

Agreed, but man I'm getting anxious 🙂

Waiting for the 65nm units is a good game plan...but I don't know if I would have been able to wait. When my system RRODed a couple of weeks ago...I almost went out and bought another one until my wife ended that charade. Anyway, there are so many good games coming out in the next couple of months...I don't think I'd be able to wait it out.

Even if it does RROD, you'll probably get a 65nm back (although I bet they have a stockpile of 90nms to go through) Maybe they'll just start switching out the mainboard for a 65nm.

This may be true...but if they feel they've come up with a reliable fix for the 90nm chips that costs considerably less than replacing the whole mainboard...then I have a feeling you'll be stuck with a 90nm if you have a 90nm.

I'm fine with my 90nm as long as it keeps working. I figure they'll come out with a whole new form factor in a couple of years when a 45nm chip comes out. My warranty will be over, so if my machine blows at any point after that transition, I'll definitely pick a new one up with a MUCH larger hard drive.
