major hardware upgrade - must reactivate windows XP

i just built a new computer and threw in my previous HD to boot and test it out.

Windows XP noticed "a major change in hardware" and says I have 3 days to reactivate. Is there a way around this?

If I reactivate, will I be able to run the same copy of windows on my older machine at the same time?
