EDIT: Problem fixed. Replaced motherboard.
These are the parts I have:
Antec 350W PSU
Abit KD7 (updated BIOS to newest release)
Tbird 1.33 (133) with Vantec Aeroflow
Seagate Barracuda IV 60GB
Kingston PC2700 512MB Valueram
SB Live
Panasonic 16x DVD-ROM
MSI Geforce 4 MX440 8X AGP
This has run flawlessly for months now. A few days ago I opened up the case and used a can of air duster to clean it out with. When I reconnected the system and tried to power it up, it would power on but I could not get it to post.
What works:
1)PSU/PSU fans (power to motherboard ok)
2)Video card/video card fan (The "check video signal" warning on the monitor drops when I turn the system on)
3)CPU HSF
4)Case power LED
5)Optical mouse
6)HD LED (it blinks a couple of times when I power the system on but the HD does not start to read as if it were booting Windows)
What I've tried:
1) Disconnecting the DVD drive
2) Removing the sound card
3) Reconnecting/reseating all cables and cards
4) Switching RAM slots
5) Using a different hard drive
I get no "post" screen on the monitor at all. Also, on my motherboard I have two diagnostic LED's that light up. The green one still comes on and always stayed on when the system worked. I also get a yellow LED now though. Any ideas?
Matt
