Major A8N-SLI Deluxe Prolem - Please Help

I just flashed the bios on my A8N-SLI Deluxe from 1003 to 1011. When I rebooted, all of my bios settings were gone. The problem is that I cannot boot into Windows XP anymore. I have two raptors in a striped array on Nvidia Sata channels 1 and 2. When Nvidia raid is disabled, the bios detects that there are two drives on channels 1 and 2. Of course, then I cannot boot into Windows. So, I enable the Nvidia raid on Sata channels 1 and 2 and reboot and I cannot boot into XP. When I go back into the bios, it shows that no drives are on Sata channels 1 and 2. So, if I enable Nvidia raid, the bios thinks that no drives are connected to channels 1 and 2. If I disable the Nvidia raid, then the bios detects that I have two drives connected but I cannot use them since they are in a raid array.

Wih Nvidia raid enabled, I checked on the array and it reports it as healthy and it is set as boot.

Does anyone have any ideas?

i have a raid setup as well. after updating the bios, on the first boot I have to setup nvidia raid just like you (turn it on and select the correct channels). then i save and exit then when the pc boots the second time i go into the bios screen and check the boot menu. I change the boot sequence so that the raid volume is my first bootable hard disk (i also have a PATA drive which is always the first boot drive until i change the sequence.)

it is normal not to see the drives in the bios screen after you turn raid on just as long as the raid volume is listed on the boot sequence screen. (it works the same on my ASUS A8n SLI and MSI Neo4 SLI boards)

hope this helps
