MAJESTIC: Online Game -- anyone play this?

Majestic

Just wondering if anyone played this. Or is still playing it. Sounds like a cool idea. I really liked Michael Dougles' The Game which is what this reminds me of.

I'm pretty sure EA pulled the plug on Majestic. From what I heard, it sounded interesting in concept but was pretty lame in practice.

From what I've been reading it does sound like it was a great concept in which EA fell short in successfully pulling it off. But then I also read that pulling the plug on the game actually turned out to be part of the game's story line.

Well, if you're gonna wait for that mysterious email or phonecall at 3am in the morning thinking the game is still going even after they pulled the plug, then you'll wait a long time. It was a new and original concept, unfortunately there wasn't enough market interest in it and EA was kinda slow developing material and episodes for it.

I played the preview demo type thing they had for free. Didn't really interest me, it was rather boring. My friend played it for a few months, but he said it got stale after awhile.
