Just saw this, I was going to buy a p4 on monday after the price cuts but I might have to wait a few more days to see if any news pops up about this.

Even with the price cuts the AMD's are still cheaper so I don't get it unless you are getting a low end chip for the 775 platform. Are you getting the new 775 platform Intel's? Also with the PCI-ex mainboards and 90nm AMD's a month out I would wait anyway.

I'm getting a 478pin for video editing. price drops on monday should help a bit, then I'll get in on the 939
s when they been around for a bit. I don't like to jump on new technology too early, I been bit before =) not saying they have problems, but its just a wait and see thing for me.
