Maine Lobster Festival

Went to the Maine Lobster Festival yesterday in Rockland, Maine. Had never been so I figured what the heck right? Talk about expensive...

Entrance fee: $7
Cup of Clam Chowder: $6
Two Lobsters: $20
2 Pounds of clams: $12
One Ice Cream: $3

A total of: 48 and i was only there for about 3 hours! That stings! Especially when I normally get lobster for $3.95 a pound!

Anywho! Here are some of the pics i took...and of course there are some interesting people shots 😉

what?! i went there in 2000. 2 1lb lobsters for $7 total!

prices have sky rocketed!!!

and yeah, it makes no sense to go there for $10 lobsters when u can get it cheaper at the supermarket
 
I read an article in the paper last week that some crazy 90 year old lady was shooing her gun at lobster divers because they were in the canal behind her house stealing "her" lobster! That was rather humerous.

why did it cost you 10$ a lobster? i was there in july and they were onlu 6.50/lb for 1-1.25lb lobsters

and where the hell are you getting them from 3.50? im guessing you have a friend that is a lobster man?
 
What I think is cool is in that link that people clicked on the thumbnails of that hot little blond number 4 times as much as the other pics.
