mainboard suggestions for X6 cpu that uses DDR2

ever since the 1055 was announced that cpu struck my interest as very intriguing for the money.

i have eight gigs of some very nice ddr2 lying around that i would like to put to use.

whats a good board for the X6 that uses DDR2?

edit: must have four DIMM slots.

This is good example of the kind of board you would want. The biggest problem though is that most boards that use DDR2 are going to be older boards that need to be flashed to support the x6 so you would need at least one "lesser" cpu to flash the bios first.

You are looking for a 7XX series chipset. Like the 770 or 790.

Just make sure it has the newwer 710 or higher southbridge. I like gigabyte more but the one at newegg only has the SB700 southbridge. And make sure you go to the makers web-page to see if there is a BIOS for 6 core cpus.
