hey i just recently replaced an old palomino 1800+ after it died, AMD ended up sending me a thouroughbred 1800+. Right now i got a gigabyte (ga-7dx) taht is pretty poor for overclocking and pc 2100 mushkin ram that can handle around 150 bus but at low cas settings and most performance memory features off. anyways what would be the best way to go motherboard wise? what are my options in this situation? i'm not a rich guy so i'm looking to replace as little as possible.

Budget with great overclocking Epox 8rda+

Great overclocking with a bit more features - Abit NF7-s

Both unlock your multiplier so you can achieve a higher overclock.

I would go with the Abit nf7s althogh I do love my 8rda+....because I had mushkin RAM and it did not work nicely so I had to upgrade that too, my friend had no-name brand and he had to upgrade also....but my friend with the nf7s had the cheapest and crappiest RAM and he didn't have to upgrade and it works perfectly fine with his setup. Also I noticed the nf7s taking less effort to setup, but slightly slower, when the 8rda+ is configured correctly, in near identical systems..
