Main HD (SATA) listed as Removable Drive??!

I had this posted in Tech Support, but since it could be anywhere from a hardware configuration (jumper?) to some setting in Windows I'm hoping someone here may have an idea.

I just put my comp together last night and I didn't notice this until about the 3rd reboot of installing XP Prof. On the Removable Icons button on the taskbar, ie the thing that comes on when you hook in a jump/usb drive, etc, it lists my main HD a SATA 160gig WD. I have no other HD's in the comp, and nothing hooked up besides a mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Here's the systems specs below. Thanks for any help as I'm rather afraid one day of wanting to actually remove a device and clicking the HD. What will my comp do when it suddenly cuts the connection to the Main Drive it's working from and on?? Thanks again.

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe MB
AMD Athlon64 3500+
BFG 6600GT OC Vid Card
2X Muskin 512 RAM 3200
SB Audigy ZS
160gig SATA WD HD
DVD-R/RW CD-R/RW NEC
OCZ 420W PS

I'm pretty sure my Raptor shows up like that as well. It's doubtful you could ever "stop" it or "disconnect" it since the OS is using the drive.

All that means is that your SATA drive supports hot-swapping which means that you can change them out without powering the system down.
