I once purchased an Abit BP6 with two 533MHz Celerons overclocked to 624Mhz. Ah....those were the days. Mobo was as ugly as could be though.

I liked I-Will, Epox, Gigabyte, Abit, Acer and DFI before either Asus, AS Rock or Fox Com existed. I believe Zoltrix also made MB's at one time.

Intel has stopped making MB's.

Who remembers the SIS Tomatoes and ISA Megatrend Main Boards plus the intro of Win 95 over Win 3.1/Dos 5.5.

Cyrix MB's with an Integrated CPU 386 DX 40 ran MS Win 95 B and C.

LOST in Memory!

I really can't say where the Silicon war is leading to but I'm a system builder.

I was a slave to IBM FORTRAN Card Punch back in 1970, let alone for the Commador 64 that set me Free not before I did about 6 months of studying to implement the mods.

Today I can stream and capture Blue Ray 264 AVC/ACC res flics with a couple clicks of the mouse and render on a 1440p PLS 120 Hz display for FREE and navigate any with out harassment as I can simply Over-Write my OS within 20 minutes if I'm Infected.

I guess Gigabyte, ASUS, AS Rock, Fox Com and EVGA are about the only MB Desk Top MFGR's left.

Perhaps the moral of this thread is that when you have intermittent Video failure and suspect a bad MB GPU PICe slot with either a Single or CF/SLI, be sure to flex and play with the PCIe cables, check both GPU 8 and 8 or 6 GPU connectors plus the PSU connectors.

In my case, running 290X CF 8/6, one of the PCIe XFX BEFX 1050W PSU connectors was not seated properly into the PSU and worked loose because the interface cable clip was marginally deformed.

Believe me it was a ah heck to diagnosis and find because it was intermittent.

I got 3 GPU PCIe GPU Cables with this XFX BFEX 1050W PSU Kit and all I did was to ensure the cable I used is seated - I didn't change out the cable to my secondary GPU - So far so good after months of Hell.

I can't believe the hits this thread is getting unless it is a common Fault with Modular PSU's and Cables mounting GPU PCIe on Seasonic, Corsair and XFX BEFX PSU's.

Some what of a twist considering the topic of this thread. So don't necessarily blame the PCIe MB GPU slot.

In all, for the price: And my particular hardware issue with the XFX PSU Kit, I will choose an XFX BEFX PSU over Seasonic or Corsair PSU's.

Define and Illiterate.

Here's mine to you "They live in blissful ignorance of the world, fashion, personal hygiene and social skills. Invariably laughs like a baboon being repeatedly punched."

In my opinion a Doofus is a Learner.

Why because one self exposes and willing to take &*(^ in order to learn - It's Matter of Learning and be Humble.

"Main Board Structure" accurateness "Doofus" that may be your call.

"Doofus" What a Great Nick .
---------
Honest Inquiry but do you have the willingness to learn, hold your own and take &^$*?

No doubt over some 30 years Online I've leaned to steal and crack but I structure for my means and made Friends whom are superior in their game.

I play my game and that's something I'm not afraid to exploit and amplify.

Good for you, Z15CAM. Keep on learning. Reading is fundamental.
I stumbled into a Barrel of Monkeys with Anand back in 1993 on mIRC #Windows 95 DalNet Servers.

I've done my reading and still read.

I don't know who is real anymore with all this Intimidating Puppy %#*^ crap whom know nothing other then they will never learn anything.

I'm becomming a despondent Net User after some 30 years - I am SafeMode.

When I see a thread with its title of "Main Board PCB Structure" I come in as I have a lot of experience with them, though no paper on my wall!!!! When someone trolls like this posting
PhIlLy ChEeSe - You're Sick Person an suggest you look into Management Control after 474 Posts on Anand Tech.
I was simply asking you to post a score so I could post mine prior to the melt down. Feel free to look over the hardware i have had

Believe it or not I am a member of HWBot but never competed and still get e-Mail Sluff from them.

Like your Flic Profile but can you Dance.

I do 5.2 Ghz I7 SB/CF 290x at 1180/1500 with 16GB Samsung Dims at 1866Ghz 9-9-9-24 1T at 1.35mV on a Z68 1150 Platform. Maxing at 68C Under full Load and Idling at 34C - Granted things after 3 years should beat it.

Looking at your pretty PIC's I see you don't come close to my Single Unigene Valley 3100 AMD Score or my 5100 CF AMD Unigine score.

If you want proof just look at my Anandtech Unigine Valley and Heaven Scores under Z15CAM.

Yes I'm also under water - This argument is irreverent to my Posting.

If you want a PIC of my Water Cooled ASUS i7 2700K/P8Z68Pro-V Gen3: Here it is: Sorry for Bad Quality:

I don't know what the answer is or where this thread is leading to; other then, I can still read and can still learn with a post of interest.

And I'm not about to Bail Out of DOS.

Cool,
I'm old also! I had a nice 3930K on a RIVE board but it blew up 2 nights ago, can't run both my 780TI at once as the PCI-E lanes are to tight on my tiny Maximus V gene. But here's my first run @4400 on the CPU, slight over clock on the GPU, I just missed beating the SLI 780TI scores. You want me 2 I can go higher, even get the second card in this board?........

All I got for now....

OPP's ran it at the wrong settings(didn't see the EXTREME HD), Gonna make me work at this aint ya? take me a few......

I don't have a 1440p so that's a no go.
Well I do with a cheap 60 to120Hz Korean QNIX QX2710 Evolution II 27" Dvi-D PLS Samsung Display powered by OEM CF 290X's under water and a lowly i7 2700K / Z68 Platform with 16GB of Samsung MV-3V4G3D-US_DDR3 and an XFX BEFX Black Edition 1050W PSU ;o)

My BIG Question is if I UpGrade my BIOS do I loose my OC'g profiles or do I have to re-program?

Guess I should talk to ASUS but that's a glue in itself.
