Main anandtech page not rendering correctly...

I've seen that on occasion, typically when leaving the main page for a subpage and then hitting Back. It seemed to happen much more often with Mozilla 1.7.3, but right now using FireFox 1.0PR I can't reproduce the effect. I go to the main page, click on a subpage, click Back, and the screen appears like your screenshot for a part of a second, but then everything jumps back into the places where it should be.

maybe when you took all the ads out it threw something off? mine isn't doing that tho with adblock running. hrrrm.

Gee, looks just fine to me using IE...
Wow, I'm so impressed.

Anyway, I just tried to duplicate the issue again in Mozilla 1.7.3, and could not. Of course, I have Adblock (instead of just image blocking by right click) installed in both Mozilla and Firefox, so that may be doing something to alleviate the issue.

Can't replicate this issue here in IE, FireFox 0.93, 1.0 or Opera. Are you trying to block ads?
I don't block ads specifically for AnandTech, so my screen is not as clean as Por's, but I do have Adblock installed with some generic rules to handle ads on other sites, so Adblock is loaded and doing something. I also can not duplicate the issue (though I do see it very quickly as the page is rendering, which is not an issue).

I can not reproduce it here in Last Two versions of Opera, Firefox 0.91 and 1.0PR, Safari on OSX Jaguar and Panther, nor Firefox 1.0pr under both Suse and Slackware linux. IE on a winderz box is fine also when I use it! 😀
