Mailing a 9"x12" Envelope

I am going to be mailing 8 pages plus a check and a stub. This is all taxes stuff so it is important. I know that over a certain weight limit you have to pay more postage, I was just wondering would all this go over the weight limit? If there is any worry that it would go over the weight limit I have no problem going in to have them weigh it, just trying to get an idea on if a single stamp would be sufficient for this.

Single stamp on an over sized envelope? Not likely. If you're worried you can drop by a post office and have it sent for exact cost, or just plop down a couple extra stamps to ensure the job gets done. That's what, about a $1.20 these days?

Lots of grocery stores and shopping centers have USPS automated kiosks you can use, too.

It costs just over $1. Put three stamps on it and it'll fly. Four if you want to be safe.
