Are people hearing stories about this in other states? We've had a few (at least 4) incidents in S.Florida of folks receiving mail with white powder in various envelopes. All have been ruled out as containing hazardous materials, so, some/multiple sicko's idea of a joke.

Just curious if it's been happening in other states?

 
Man thats messed up. I live in KC.. Have not heard of anything like that going around. It is probably just the mailman's coke.
 
last i heard, even the report of the "fan-letter" envelope in palm beach was a hoax. the fact that one person died from anthrax and another was found with it in his nose is still true, but they're now saying that the envelope story may not be credible...

I haven't heard about any instances here. The cases mentioned in that article sure don't sound to me like they were meant to cause widespread damage, but who knows?
Sounds more to me like sickos sending them, or maybe personal enemies of the recipients.
