mail server preference

so i need to setup a new mail server for a medium sized company and i'm not too sure which MTA i'm gonna go with. they currently use sendmail but i've always had problems getting sendmail working correctly so i'm think about either postfix, exim, or qmail. qmail would require the most work because i don't think the migration from sendmail to qmail is that easy. exim and postfix are drop in replacements for sendmail so migration would be pretty easy, but there are a lot of qmail fanboys and girls that say its the best.

do any of you have a preferred MTA?
