I have set up a mail server on one of my home machines. I have also set up the Netgear router to forward port 25 and 110 to the computer that has the mail server running.
If I send mail (which is my primary concern), it works great when I specify the internal network address of the computer. If I specify the external address (router IP) it gives me a timeout or connection refused message.
I am not running any other firewall/router at the time.
Thoughts?
