Mail ordering video card in Canada: tips?

Hi there,

I built a new system back in June but decided to wait on getting a video card for a bit. I'm thinking of getting one now unless there is evidence the next generation of ATI cards will come out before Half-Life 2 (not likely).

I bought all the components for my system from a local vendor because they offer 7 day cash back and one year in store exchange warranty (as long as they are stocking the item still). However, their prices on video cards are noticably higher than others I've seen online (e.g. the 5900 FX Ultra 256meg for $779 or $799 CAD plus tax, I've seen the Chaintech for as low as $610 CAD).

I'm wondering if anyone can give me tips on a good mail order source for video cards in Canada? http://www.atic.ca has some really nice prices on 5900 (ultra and non) and 9800 (ultra and non) but I've heard bad things about them and their ordering process is really stupid (faxing a copy of your cc or something, come on guys it's 2003 get a good webserver backend going).

I'm thinking of a 128meg 5900 non ultra because it seems every single card allows the core to be OC'd to ultra levels. Or maybe a Saphire 9800 non pro they seem to be doing good as well.

Dangeo has a nice price on the Sapphire 9800, $378 I believe. Although I just realized I can get it in town for $400, my local shop has good prices on ATI cards, it's just the 5900 series are out of reach.
 
I ordered a pair of Sennheiser HD 570 headphones from Tigerdirect in May, it took 10 days for them to get here (shipped from the USA?) but it cost $99 USD ($135 CAD at the time + shipping) versus $199 in a store locally.
 
I highly recommend Dangeo, they are actually out of Calgary so shipping would be like nothing for you ( no pickups... ). They also offer a great pricematch feature, and they will match any non cash discounted price ( they do cash ones too, but tack on like 3%) from any shops that ship Canada wide. They hooked me up with a killer deal on my system a while ago and from what i hear their support is excellent. However, I haven't tested this yet since I?ve had no problems. My only beef was that they didn't have my mobo in stock, but it turned out for the better since i got a newer revision of it. Anyways, good luck on the video card hunt.
