A lot of pop-ups, and no POP3 (at least for the free version). But mailbox size is pretty large. And lots of domain names.

Otherwise OK.

Seems to be slow in the afternoon, but reasonably fast in the evening. Pop-ups are a pain, but any decent anti pop-up software should fix that.

if you can read russian (or if you're good at guessing) mail.ru is good.
has POP support too, and kinda large inbox (12mb IIRC)

Does anyone know a program that is FREE that work like yahoopop for yahoo but is for Mail.com.

PS
I already know of WEb2pop and it will be installed on multiple computers for friends/family. It will be too expensive

Thanks

Whatever you do, do NOT sign up with mail.com. It is pure sh!t. Checking email in the afternoons? forget it. I am trying to switch but I am afraid I'll end up missing some important email. They charge for email forwading, argh!

Although this solution is not free it does offer you a whole lot more and is very cheap.

You get
Your own www.domain.com
www.yourdomain.com website hosting
150MB webspace (to be divided how you want)
3GB per month bandwidth
1 MySQL database (can be used for forums or pichosting for instance - forums would be a nice way to keep in touch and share pics)
10 e-mail addresses (if divided equally each email box will be 15MB)
domain registration

All for only $1.57 per month (paid anually $18.87)

NameCheap.com domain registration
e-rice.net web hosting, email, forums, pichosting, etc.
