That's a 2000W inverter powering a 500W halogen work light.

The panel meter is reading amperage draw.

Ouch.

I don't.. I was just testing the inverter out, seeing how much juice it would suck.

The 500W halogen was the biggest load I had around. It's not really that bright.. just your standard work lamp.

Yeah. And that's only 1/4 of its rated maximum. :Q

You'd need one hell of a bank of batteries to get any real use out of it....

Just playing around with it for like 45 mins dropped my battery from 12.7 to 11.9v.. lol
