The place we buy workstations from at work had dual-Magny Cours systems on their price list, but wasn't able to sell them because motherboards weren't available. The Tyan S8812 board appears on a couple of price-comparison sites at a fairly reasonable $899, but nobody has it in stock and the page at tyan.com still says 'coming soon'. newegg reckons that S8230 might be available at the start of August.
Any idea when mere mortals might be able to get these Magny Cours boxes? The pricing for the 6128 is good enough that it's worth jumping through quite a lot of hoops to get 32 Opteron cores and 32GB for about $3200, but it's irritatingly tantalising to see these products announced but unavailable.
