Magnify a window ?

Hello ,

here's the problem :
I want to put up clocks and some other programs on to my HTPC , but the problem is that they are skinable, and don't really want to be bigger : ( ... so , is there any way in programming myself or any program that will magnify the specific program window (and keep it magnified) ?

I came across this thread whilst searching for the same thing. Has anyone figured out a way to do this over the past 10 years?

What I want to do is have a magnifier that automatigally configures itself so that my dialog box takes up all or most of the screen, until either the height or width exceeds the available screen space.
