No, not sensitive enough. Why implant them? Can't you get the same effect from a well designed pair of gloves?

Stronger magnets wouldn't feel the more subtle changes into the magnetic field.
This does.
Blabla, magnet too weak for that, blabla.
Read the fucking AMA.
Well, you could try making the gloves...How do you figure? You could fit a lot of these "more sensitive" magnets in a glove giving you more sources of feedback. It wouldn't be that difficult to make a skin-flush glove that accomplishes the same thing without the implant. Hell they could cover their hands in scales of these magnets like chainmesh. Plus wouldn't the magnets in the body interfere with nerve endings making their skin less sensitive?

Feeling something INSIDE your body move is going to invariably be a lot more sensitive than simply feeling an effect on magnets in a glove.
That said, we still know two things for sure:
The OP obviously wants to do this.
The OP has still not provided any practical purpose for this (nor has anyone; correct me if I missed something).
Do you seriously want to get magnetic implants so you can tell your buddy when his hot pocket is ready? (not a sexual euphemism...)

lol
So he's an EE that wants to feel magnetic fields?
