magnets and electronic devices

so if the magnets are not strong electro magnets but are pretty strong say magenetized jewelry, how well do they affect electronic device if at all? Im asking cause Im thinking about buying these magnetic beads that becomes an chain and i was wondering if it'll affect my cellphone in my pocket if its a bracelet.

Maybe if the electronic device has a solenoid and you start waving the magnets really fast around it? But I doubt it'll affect anything on chip.

You're not going to do anything to your phone, even if its one of those flip phones. A magnet won't get close enough to affect the sensor/magnet combo that detects an open phone.

Well, since a cell phone doesn't use any form of magnetic storage I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you'll be fine. The issue with computers and magnets is, first of all, overblown, and second of all, applicable only to devices that use magnetic storage (e.g. hard drives and floppy disks).
