Magnetic interference from a system speaker?

I mean the sort of system speaker that you get mounted on a board which provides BIOS beeps. I've always wondered whether the magnetic field from it could affect say a data cable in close proximity to it. Thoughts?

Your link is to something about Awesome? :\

My thoughts, the system beep speaker doesn't have a big enough magnet to effect a data cable. Now if you take a home sub woofer speaker then yeah.
