I love using my Mountek magnetic CD-mounted car dock with my Note 3. As my phone is long in the tooth, I plan on upgrading to the Note 6. Since there is no removable back, (damn it!) I was wondering if the metal body would stick to the car mount. Has anyone tried? Does a magnet stick to the body of the Note 5?
I'd hate to go back to the clamp-style, as they wear out and need replaced every so often, not to mention it's just not as fun as tossing my phone at the mount.
I saw an add for an NFC charging mount. That might have enough positives to make me switch.
Does anyone have a dock to recommend with the Note or other phone with a sealed battery? I will not put my phone in a case. My Note 3 has withstood a lot of punishment caseless. I'll put on a glass screen protector. That's enough.
