I wanted to post something at least somewhat interesting for my 1,000th post, so here goes. I recently picked up a Rosewill mouse to use with my laptop, and it got me wondering who they were. As far as I can tell, they are run by Magnell Associates, who operates ABS computers/Newegg/Chiefvalue. According to dharmariver2005, they also run CplusE, a hardware review site. As dharmariver2005 put it, "So now Magnell Associates is not just a player but a Referee too". When i googled Magnell Associates, this PDF came up. It is from this past December, and is a request for funds from the ETP . "... Our program supports the California economy, primarily by funding the retraining of incumbent, frontline workers in companies challenged by out-of-state competition....". It was interesting to me to see the $$ figures/details about training ABS has planned to better operate their growing company. It shouldn't be surprising to any of us that Newegg is growing (and has grown) a ton lately, and in this doc it says their internet sales double annually. Since i have given Newegg a lot of business, just like many other AT'ers, I thought i would share.
