I bought a 4 pack off steam for my boys and I to play. Anyone else playing? I am not far into the game, just in the 2nd level. What are your thoughts on the game?

Magicka can be loads of fun when you play with other people. I like the free form method of spell casting, but at the same time it can be like a button masher on steroids since it is real time combat.

I would agree with all of this. Its great fun in a group but man you really hit buttons at times.

I bought it but never played it. I wouldn't mind playing it with a few people.

The adventure side of the game is the better part I found. Areana gets boring quickly.
Biggest down side of the game I think is that the game addons are mostly just areana maps. The second adventure map was too short and their has not been any more since.
