So I just went to a show, and I saw this guy do magic tricks live for the first time.

I am just baffeled on how a guy could stick his palm out, and then just move and cards come out of his hands.......over and over...........

now does anybody actually know the trick behind it? Is it just super fast hands, or is it certain type of cards??

I have always wondered

The most fun part about when people show magic tricks, is when I can replicate what they do nearly exactly. It's fun knowing how to palm things, and order cards to your benefit.

I don't really have any insight. I just learned how to pick up how the tricks are done by watching people perform, and not following the misdirection. Once you look past the acting that is incorporated in the act, it becomes easier to see the slight of hand.

The 'pulling cards out of the air' trick goes like this: You get/make a thin stamped metal card holder. It's pretty much a clip that you can slide cards out of at will. Hard to describe, so I won't try. On the 'bottom' side; opposite the cards, there are two prongy things that you stick your finger though, like an unclosed ring, this goes on before the first knuckle. When you want to produce a card, you halfway curl your hand int oa fist so that you can put your thumb on the top card in the clip and pull it out. Repeat quickly. The clip is very low profile, and has cards glued to each side so that is almost just looks like any of the others.

Cliff notes: Dude pulls cards out of clip on back of hand.
