I know its not a really big deal, but I would like to get a certain picture to display at bootup, and I would greatly appreciate your help. But right now I am having some problems with getting the new picture into the ROM.
Evertime I try to open the picture I get a "stream read error" error.
My resolutions are 640*480 256 colors, 71dpi which should meet the requirements.
Ive compared the images that came with magic screen to mine, and they are exactly the same. What's going on here?
I've tried renaming it to the original pictures in the sample directory.
It also seems that when I change the dpi in my picture from 71 to 96, then I can at least get it to display in magic screen, but there is a big red X and I can't flash it. It says there is not enough space in the ROM even though it is exactly the same size as the pictures that came with magic screen.
Can someone me help out?
