i hate even taking tylenol or advil, not to mention prescription pills (Vioxx for a recent accident) that i forget to take. Tums is the only pill i don't mind taking...everything else i live without.

I call BS to everyone that says "No". Sounds a lot like Brave New World? Like anyone would give a damn, since everyone is happy.

I'd buy it, and I'd take it. Please answer why the heck you wouldn't? I'm not depressed, but if I was instantly going to be happy, does it really matter if anyone claims it "fake" or anythign like that?

yep...I actually just had a session earlier today, and I'll probably start going on some form of medication. If there were some pill that would work immediately, I'd do it for sure. (in my current state)

I'd only take a pill to correct some chemical imbalance or other health problem.

Otherwise, if I'm depressed then I'm depressed for a reason. It's the mental equivalent of pain, a signal to do something to correct the source of the depression. Besides as I said above, it's my mind and my mood. A pill giving false contentment would change me (even if slightly) from who I really am.

This is a little like the question of "would you trade bodies with X" where X is someone on TV or in the movies. My answer is no: even though (for example) Pierce Brosnan is much better looking than me I'd rather stay me.
