Magic Bullet, whats the Verdict?

Anyone have the Magic Bullet its a kitchen device that cuts and grinds and does everything in " 10 seconds" one of those informational shows on TV.

I hear some people say its a great product and Target is got it for $60 bucks this week.

When I first clicked I thought you were going to talk about JFK assasination theories.... on a related note, friends of mine bought one. It isn't nearly as cool as the advertisement, but they are happy with it.

Get the PowerChopper knockoff. $20 at Bed Bath and Beyond, minus 20% coupons I get in the mail every two weeks.

It's pretty much identical to the Magic Bullet, it just comes with less containers.

It's not good for grinding up onions, because it just liquifies it into juice.
But it's good for making juice.. that's it.
It's pretty handy as a small blender.

Me too.

And it isn't as great as advertised of course, but I've found some great uses for it.

So I guess you've never made Brownies/Banana Bread or anything else. Or you would know WTF he was talking about. It saves a lot of time, and all you have to do is pick out the hippy grenades - which is actually optional since some of them will be chopped up any way, but still worth spending the time to do

You can chop anything, even a gram.
No, you lose nothing. Well, the crystals will get caked on the grinder, but it can be scraped later.
Rolls tighter, fluffs up nice.
Not if you had a decent screen.
