I'm not trying to threadcrap on the deal. Just wanted to give my hate for Magellan. I bought one a few years back and got zero customer service from them after they were bought out. They used to be supported by Thales and were a great company. They sold off their name and the company is now reselling units made by other companys and support is in India. If you have a problem, they can't understand you and if you want updated maps because theirs are totally inaccurate in your area, they'll suggest you buy a new GPS from them at a higher price than what Amazon.com charges.

I like my new Garmin. Please research the GPS unit and the company before you jump and that goes with any unit you buy. There are a lot of inferior units with up to 3 minutes of satellite aquisition time.

Having said all that, this unit might be worth buying. I've seen decent reviews on them...I'm just never going to give magellan my business again.
