Did you look yourself at all? Go to the manufactures website and there is a sign that take up about 20% of the screen that says click here for new maps.

I wonder when they will start shipping that version of the software installed on new units. At the rate prices are dropping it would likely make more sense to buy a new unit for $125-$150 than buy an $80 DVD. You would have a spare GPS for $45-$70 over the price of the DVD.

As a 3225 owner I hope new models have better battery life. For $80 I'd rather just wait and see what comes out in the next 6 months. I have no major issues with my GPS. The car charger and home AC adapter came with the unit but a small battery indicator on the main screen would be appreciated. A low battery indicator or a warning with more than the current 5-10 seconds to respond would be another option.

Hmmm....The wife and I each have 3225s as well. My understanding, however, is that maps are usually a year-or-so behind, right? Since we live in an area actively being developed...I think I'll wait a few couple years and just buy new units.
