This outfit gets discussed every few months on the various "hot deals" forums on the net. Yes, the site is low-rent, but don't be put off by that. They're definitely legit and actually deliver the goods (unless they've changed in some way in the last year). The only real catch is that you'll wait a VERY long time before your subscription actually begins: three months in my experience. I think they accumulate a mass of orders on each title before they pass along the "start" order to the mag publishers. Keep that in mind if you're trying to renew a subscription through them. I've ordered five or six from them, got them all, can't complain.

They had an email special last year that enabled me to get a year of Time AND Newsweek for about 5 bucks each. Ten cents a copy for TIme? Yeah baby.

I believe the last extended thread I saw on this outfit was probably at ---forgive me, Anandtech gods!--- the "Look What I Found" shopping forum at mycoupons.com. It would have been a few months back. I'm not sure how extensive their search archive is, but I can assure you if you post a new question about discountmagazines.com in that forum you'll definitely elicit a response.

These guys are legitimate. I subscribed for some magazines like 8 months ago and they came through.

They are 100% legit.

I got all my magazines, everything works great. The first year you have to get 5 magazines to get the low price. After you are a customer, you can renew or order only as many as you want.

Be patient, it does take 6-8 weeks before you see your first magazine.

Also, I remember when I signed up, they were very response to any questions I sent via email.

I've been using them for renewals and new subscriptions. Have
purchased many through them, and all have come (some took
a while to start, though).

I just noticed that with all the renewals, my subscription to
Rolling Stone now expires in 2009! (Really!!!)
